Kevin Durant has no regrets about the Brooklyn Nets getting swept by the Boston Celtics in the first round of the 2022 playoffs. However, it is quite clear how much he hates losing.

As Dave Early of ClutchPoints reported Monday following the Nets' 116-112 loss to the Celtics, Durant was disappointed with how things went for the team. He is not crying over it, though, and is simply moving on as he looks forward to next season.

“No regrets. S—t happens. No crying over spilt milk,” Durant said.

KD also opened up about the challenging season they had, from all the injuries and roster changes they encountered. While it was an overall tough season for them, he highlighted how they battled through and accomplished one of their goals by making the playoffs.

Unfortunately, that stint didn't last long.

“Once we finally got together we had a mission and wanted to make the playoffs and see what kind of noise we could make. We didn't make any noise but we got to the playoffs,” Durant added.

The Nets were expected to make a run for the title, so the disappointment from Kevin Durant isn't a surprise. They have too much talent as well, but they didn't have the opportunity to be fully healthy and gel well during the season.

Now, Brooklyn heads to the offseason with plenty of questions to answer. If there is one thing certain, it's the fact that the latest playoff embarrassment will only fuel Durant even more.
