Nickelodeon is celebrating the 25th anniversary of Blue's Clues, and Tuesday featured a viral moment when the Nick Jr. Twitter account posted a two-minute video of Steve Burns, the original host of the show, and people went crazy for the inspirational message. One of those people was Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant.

Here's the video featuring Burns:

In the video, Steve gets in character and talks about his “abrupt” exit from Blue's Clues and says that he “just kinda got up and went to college.” He then got everybody in their feels by discussing the challenges of growing up and how he couldn't have done it all without all the help of the Blue's Clues faithful:

“I guess I just wanted to say that after all these years, I never forgot you … ever. And I'm super glad we're still friends.”

This clearly struck a chord with Durant. The Nets star took to Twitter with a quick reaction to the uplifting video:

So many people know Durant for getting into it with fans on Twitter, so it was refreshing to see the Nets superstar sharing this awesome video that now has over 16 million views on it. Durant was 7 years old when Blue's Clues first premiered, and maybe he was a big fan of the show as a kid. Even if he wasn't, he clearly loved this message from Steve.

With so much bad stuff going on in the world, it's always great to see something positive like this video from Steve Burns. Perhaps Durant will use this as inspiration as he gets prepared for the upcoming Nets season. Brooklyn enters the 2021-22 campaign as the favorite to win the NBA title thanks to a ridiculously loaded roster. The franchise is looking to avenge its loss to the Milwaukee Bucks in the playoffs from last season.
