For better or worse, Kevin Durant is one of the most active NBA personalities on social media. The Brooklyn Nets star often gets involved responding to rather spicy takes and unkind words pretty often.

But of course, the Nets star gets his fair share of love from fans with some interesting anecdotes on him. One example was from Twitter user Rishaw_Johnson, whose listed as a football coach for tight ends at McNeese State University in Louisiana.

Although the Nets star didn't exactly recall the encounter, Kevin Durant clearly took a shine to the tale from coach Johnson. Hopefully we get some fans in those courtside seats again soon enough. Fan encounters and visible hecklers are part of what makes the game so dynamic, even when you're just watching from the comfort of your own home.

Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets probably heard the hecklers coming at them after their recent 4-game losing skid. They've since bounced back in a big way, closing their tough five-game road trip with back-to-back wins against the Denver Nuggets and Chicago Bulls.

The short streak allowed them to reclaim their spot as the East's 2nd seed, which they relinquished momentarily a few games after getting swept by the Milwaukee Bucks in a two-game series.
