Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets gave former teammate Kendrick Perkins a massive roasting in a Twitter argument about Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Perkins was defending Westbrook as the greatest Thunder player of all time, noting that he etched this in stone right after Durant left him all alone. When basketball analyst Marc D'Amino pointed out Westbrook's failed playoff campaigns, Perkins retaliated that Durant, too, has had his fair share of failures.

Durant retaliated by pointing out Perkins' mediocre averages during the playoffs.

Perkins did not let it pass, though. He pulled out the ‘weakest move in NBA history' card on Durant. To recall, Durant and the Thunder were up 3-1 in the 2016 Western Conference Finals against the 73-win Golden State Warriors. They lost in the series and the Warriors themselves lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers despite being up 3-1 in the NBA Finals. Then, seemingly out of the blue, Durant signed with the Warriors in the summer.

Durant's reply shows that he's unaffected by Perkins' rebuttal. After all, the former league MVP's decision to go to the Warriors has been slapped by tons of criticisms. Even when he's not donning the Warriors jersey anymore, people still bring it up to him. For Durant, it's tired old news. He's comfortable with the decision he made and doesn't regret it one bit. He won two titles with them after all.

While their exchange looks heated and tense, fans need not worry. Durant and Perkins are just engaging in some good old trash talking. They're just having some fun.
