Kevin Durant's first full season with the Brooklyn Nets ended in disappointment. Luckily for him, his mom was there to comfort and give him some encouraging words.

The Nets lost Game 7 of their playoffs series against the Milwaukee Bucks by a narrow margin at 115-111. It officially ended the season for Brooklyn, though KD couldn't be blamed for lack of trying since he clearly gave it his all–especially in the pivotal do-or-die showdown.

Following the contest, KD's mom, Wanda Durant, shared a special moment with his son and gave him her never-ending support despite their heartbreaking exit.

Indeed, it was a painful loss for Kevin Durant who made 48 points in the contest, the most points ever in a Game 7. He even hit the clutch shot in the fourth quarter to send the showdown to overtime (and he was just inches away from sending Milwaukee packing).

Still, it is nice to see KD and his mom share a heartwarming moment. Wanda Durant rallied his son throughout the competition, even playing mind games with PJ Tucker after the Bucks veteran tried to hurt his son.

KD should hold his head high, though. He proved to everyone that he is still one of the best players in the NBA today, and he surely made his mom proud.
