Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant knows how to operate on the block, so it's no surprise that the four-time scoring champ holds a deep appreciation for that facet of Michael Jordan's skill set.

Durant shared some of his thoughts on Jordan with Jay Williams in a new episode of The Boardroom set to air Sunday ahead of ESPN's The Last Dance documentary series premiere.

“When you watch Jordan on the block, what do you take away?” Jay Williams asked KD.

“Just his I.Q. for when to bring out certain moves. And he simplified the game for himself. He didn't need to give you two or three shoulder shimmies. He might just look at you in face, give you a pump fake, look for his teammates, and then, if not, jab to a J.”

“He'll turn around on either side. That's what made him super unpredictable. When he can turn over at either shoulder,” Durant added.

Durant did provide a surprising but understandable answer when asked about his favorite MJ moment:

“When he came to play for the Wizards….I know all the championships…I would never, never disrespect or discredit those. But, for me personally, when he decided to come to play in my hometown, I just felt so inspired…Cause you hear about MJ all the way up and til that point. And it seems like he's so far away. And now he's in the same city and I can catch a train down there and go catch a game and see the greatest player. Even though he was older, he was still killin.' Averaging 20s, getting 40s…still looking good in the midrange.”

MJ averaged 21.2 points per game over two seasons in Washington. You can check Durant's comments below:
