Brooklyn Nets superstar small forward Kevin Durant likes the fact that the NBA loosened its dress code for the bubble games, particularly for coaches.

Durant, who isn't with the Nets in Florida since he's still recovering from his Achilles tear, wants the NBA to, “Normalize coaches in slacks and a polo.”

During regular games, coaches are required to wear suits. However, for the bubble games, players and coaches are not required to wear a sport coat on the bench, as they can wear short/long-sleeve polos instead.

In 2005, the late David Stern said all NBA players must dress in business or conservative attire while arriving and departing during a scheduled game, on the bench while injured and when conducting official NBA business such as press interviews.

However, there really was no need for a strict dress code at the bubble games since there aren't any fans at the games and press interviews are being done virtually.

As for Durant, Nets fans can't wait to see the two-time Finals MVP make his Brooklyn debut in 2020-21. A 10-time All-Star and former regular-season MVP, Durant has career NBA averages of 27.0 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 849 games with the Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriors. The future Hall of Famer picked the Nets over the New York Knicks in free agency last summer because Brooklyn was farther along in the process of being a contender.

The Nets should be title contenders next season with Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and DeAndre Jordan leading the charge. The three All-Stars each signed four-year deals with the Nets.
