The Brooklyn Nets vs. Milwaukee Bucks series has had a ton of testy moments as both teams duke it out. Perhaps the biggest battle on the court is between superstar Kevin Durant and wing stopper PJ Tucker.

There's clearly no love lost between the two veterans throughout the Nets-Bucks matchups. The same cannot be said for Kevin Durant's mom, Wanda Durant, who was seen professing her love for the Bucks forward in a likely bid to throw him off:

That's definitely an interesting strategy from the Nets star's mom. Tucker had just fouled her son on a mid-range jump shot and was fuming over the call from the official. Mama Wanda definitely didn't like what she saw from Tucker, and gave him a piece of her mind. The Bucks star barked right back with some choice words of his own, and that's when KD's mom switched gears all of a sudden.

While PJ Tucker and Kevin Durant look heated whenever they bump bodies on the floor, there's still clearly mutual respect. Tucker recently spoke out on his true thoughts on the Nets star after their Game 6 win:

“Me and Kevin fight every year,” Tucker told reporters when talking about the Nets superstar. “… I love guarding him. I enjoy it. He's the best scorer I've ever seen in my life … that's my brother, we compete, we fight every game, we're gonna fight again in Game 7.”

The two were actually linked even prior to making the NBA. Both players are proud alumni of the University of Texas, featuring as stars on the Longhorns during their respective stints. Tucker played from 2003 to 2006, while Durant played one season for them the year Tucker left to play professionally.

While both PJ Tucker and Kevin Durant took vastly different paths to the league, things have gone full circle for them amid their memorable clash in the Nets-Bucks series.
