While Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett is a big fan of Caris LeVert, The Big Ticket believes the Brooklyn Nets should package LeVert in a trade for a third star next to Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

During an interview with Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News, Garnett said the Nets should try to acquire Washington Wizards superstar Bradley Beal or Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine this offseason:

“I hate to say this, but I would [make a trade]. First off, to be able to get any of those talents, when you have the opportunity to, you have to,” Kevin Garnett told The Daily News on Tuesday while promoting responsible drinking with Crown Royal.

“Caris LeVert is a really, really good up-and-coming player. He has value. You can leverage that and get you a Zach LaVine who can score with the best of em… Bradley Beal the same. Those pieces there are intricate to the availability — I don’t know how long Bradley Beal is going to be there to be available for Brooklyn.”

The Nets are expected to be title contenders next season with Durant and Irving leading the way. LeVert is a talented swingman who averaged 18.7 points per game during the 2019-20 season, and he stepped up in the bubble for a very shorthanded Nets squad.

However, LeVert isn't the scorer and shooter Beal and LaVine are.

Now, it's worth mentioning that the Wizards likely won't listen to Beal trade offers this offseason since they are getting All-Star point guard John Wall back in 2020-21. The Bulls, meanwhile, probably won't trade LaVine either since they are under new leadership in Arturas Karnisovas.

However, it can't hurt the Nets to look into a trade for one of these players in an attempt to upgrade their roster as they try to win a title.
