The Brooklyn Nets will still be without Kevin Durant, but star point guard Kyrie Irving will be back in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Detroit Pistons in a much-needed sigh of relief for Brooklyn.

Kyrie Irving sat out Saturday's huge Eastern Conference clash against the top-seeded Philadelphia 76ers. Unfortunately, the Nets lost 124-108 without two of their Big 3, with the Sixers proving too much for them to overcome after five players scored in double figures.

The Nets will remain without Durant for the next couple of games due to quarantine from the bizarre situation that took place last Friday, so getting Irving back will be a huge boost for the team. Irving is averaging a career-high 27.5 points in 16 games this year and has been on another level since returning from his self-imposed break away from the team.

The Nets are off to a 14-11 start, third in the East behind the Sixers and the Milwaukee Bucks. They should have no problems against the Pistons, who are at the bottom of the Eastern Conference with a league-worst 5-18 mark.

Steve Nash's squad has been heralded as the favorites in the Eastern Conference, but they have had both Irving and Durant miss games for numerous reasons and have been mediocre at best on the defensive end. Once the talented trio gets healthy and Durant returns from his quarantine, they could rattle off a huge chunk of wins with a championship on their mind.
