The Brooklyn Nets have an insanely talented Big 3 with Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden among one of the best NBA trios of this century.

Unfortunately, the Nets were handed some injuries and lost to the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, missing the chance to go to the NBA Finals.

The Nets signed Kevin Durant to a huge four-year extension worth $198 million and are trying to lock up both Harden and Irving to keep this group intact. Irving posted an interesting message, perhaps hinting at an extension being in the works with the Nets.

Irving said, “There is more to this journey.” What that means is up in the air, but certainly, he doesn't want to play elsewhere, at least not right now.

He spent the beginning of his career with the Cleveland Cavaliers and won an NBA title next to LeBron James. He then went to the Boston Celtics, which was an interesting situation to say the least. His latest team, the Nets, has been a terrific one, and if they can find a way to keep the trio together, they could compete for NBA titles for the foreseeable future.

If the Nets are able to extend all three players, they will be in some tricky cap situations for the next few years. Nonetheless, having a three-man core of Durant, Irving, and Harden is worth it by all means, and teams across the NBA will have to find a way to stop them.
