Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving is public enemy No. 1 among Boston Celtics fans because of how his tenure in Beantown went down, and especially how it ended. While Irving once pledged his loyalty to the Celtics, it wasn't long before he decided to team up with Kevin Durant in Brooklyn.

The Nets and Celtics are now set to face off yet again in the playoffs. Irving is over all the hate from Boston fans and wants them to get over it:

Of course, there is zero chance Celtics fans are going to get over it during a playoff series. Maybe they get over it at some point, but it's not going to happen now. Boston fans are going to be vicious going after Kyrie as the Celtics try to send the Nets home.

This series between the Nets and Celtics is going to be fascinating. Boston was the best team in the NBA over the last few months, but Brooklyn is no normal No. 7 seed given the presence of Irving and Kevin Durant. There's also a chance Ben Simmons finally makes his Nets debut in this series, though nothing has been confirmed on that front yet.

Whatever happens, we know Celtics fans will not acquiesce Irving's request. It's going to be a rowdy atmosphere during Game 1 in Boston and beyond.
