The Brooklyn Nets suffered their longest losing streak of the season at four games. After the contest, Kyrie Irving pointed out what's wrong in their play.

Per Brian Lewis of the New York Post, Irving criticized the Nets' seeming penchant for isolation ball. Irving believes that this won't help them in their quest for that elusive title.

Irving exploded for 45 points against the Dallas Mavericks. Yet it was not enough as they lost, 113-109. Irving's comments are pretty shocking to some. Especially since he's a player known to thrive in isolation plays. He's even built a reputation as one of the best one-on-one players in the NBA.

Fans were quick to react and remind the Brooklyn Nets guard that he's actually the one who plays iso ball the most.

One fan even pointed out that Irving has been pretty much doing it his whole career.

One pointed out that once James Harden returns for the Nets, then more iso ball will come their way. After all, Harden is also a player who thrives in such situations.

It's definitely a controversial comment. But let's not forget that Irving has been on a championship team. As such, he knows how ineffective iso-ball is especially in the later stages of the playoffs.

For all we know, Irving maybe just talking to himself as well as his Nets teammates. It's tempting to rely on Irving, Kevin Durant, and James Harden's talents. They've proven throughout their career that they can carry teams on their back. But at the end of the day, it's a team game, and every single player on the court matters.
