The Brooklyn Nets are in the midst of pursuing an NBA Finals victory in 2021-22, but they've been doing so without star point guard Kyrie Irving. Irving, who is away from the team because he remains unvaccinated, has yet to feature for Steve Nash's squad this season, drawing both criticism and support from fans across the league.

One thing Irving has done throughout the year, however, is post cryptic images to his Instagram account. He shared another post on the social media platform on Wednesday:

Irving didn't post a caption along with his image, opting to let the photo speak for itself.

The comment section featured many supportive fans, offering encouragement to the Nets star. Other comments featured fans begging Irving to return to the court, and others who were simply confused about the post in general.

Irving's decision to remain unvaccinated and forego his eligibility to play for the Nets has been met with a great deal of scrutiny, but the 29-year-old has stuck to his guns and is continuing to stand up for what he believes in.

With Kyrie's return seeming less likely with each passing week, the Nets need to figure out how they plan to bring a Larry O'Brien Trophy home to Brooklyn. At 15-6 on the year, the team still occupies the top spot in the Eastern Conference, but early-season losses to the Warriors and Suns suggest they may have their hands full come the playoffs.
