A Brooklyn Nets fan tragically lost his house to a fire and the only thing which survived was a Kyrie Irving Nets jersey.

Fahad Suave not only received a donation from a group led by Dave Zenon, an assistant coach at The Patrick School — Irving’s old high school — but he also got that Irving jersey which survived signed by Kyrie himself:

This was a great move by Kyrie Irving. Fahad took to Twitter to tell everyone on social media to stop hating on the Nets superstar for not doing more.

For whatever reason, Irving is a polarizing figure on Twitter, so anything he does, even when it's a nice deed, will get some crazy reactions sometimes.

Irving was only able to play in 20 games this season because of a shoulder injury which he ended up getting surgery on. The New Jersey native averaged 27.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 6.4 assists in his first season back home with the Nets, the team he grew up watching and rooting for.

The 2019-20 season was suspended after Utah Jazz All-Star center Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19. Nets superstar small forward Kevin Durant was one of the Brooklyn players which tested positive.

Everyone on the Nets who tested positive is symptom-free now.
