Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant is still recovering from an Achilles injury, but it seems his rehabilitation process is going well.

In a series of photos posted on Instagram, Durant can be seen working through a workout routine with some of his friends and trainers. What's interesting about this is the fact that he is not using crutches:

KD was also recently seen limping around Los Angeles without crutches.

Durant, who joined the Nets this offseason, ruptured his Achilles in the second quarter of the Warriors' Game 5 win over the Toronto Raptors in the 2019 NBA Finals. At this point, the two-time champion remains without an official timetable for return. Most experts feel that Durant will miss the coming season in its entirety, though a late-season return isn't out of the question.

Though his season came to an end in an unfortunate fashion, Durant enjoyed a fine statistical year. In his 78 appearances with the Warriors (all starts), the former No. 2 overall pick racked up averages of 26.0 points on 52.1 percent shooting from the field (35.3 percent from beyond the arc), 6.4 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 1.1 blocks in 34.6 minutes per outing.

The Nets finished the 2018-19 regular season with a 42-40 overall record, which earned the team a No. 6 seed in the Eastern Conference. Unfortunately, Brooklyn was defeated by the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round, 4-1. This season, though, with Kyrie Irving running the point, the Nets will be looking to make another postseason push.
