The Brooklyn Nets weren't happy when Philadelphia 76ers star center Joel Embiid elbowed Jarrett Allen in Game 2 and was only called for a Flagrant 1 foul.

To make matters even worse, Embiid and Ben Simmons were laughing during their postgame press conference with reporters when Embiid was telling the media he was sorry for it.

Nets forwards Rodions Kurucs and Jared Dudley are eager for Game 3 so they can get back at Embiid in a legal manner.

“My reaction is we’ll show them in Game 3 what my reaction is,” Kurucs said, via Stefan Bondy of The New York Daily News. “I’ll just go harder. I’ll go harder but I have to be a little bit more careful now.

“(Embiid’s) was a pretty dirty play in my opinion. Dirtier than mine, 100 percent. Because I didn’t do it on purpose and I saw he did it on purpose. So I feel he was laughing about that.”

Added Dudley:

“I usually go back to people’s history and obviously (Embiid) has a history of flagrant fouls. So hopefully we don’t get called for any flagrant fouls if we accidentally hit him with an elbow in the chin. But nah, it’s just playoff basketball, it’s expected to be physical. But you have to be not dirty.”

Expect the referees to pay close attention with all plays involving Embiid. The Nets aren't saying they want to hurt Embiid, but that they might be a little more physical with him.

The Nets and Sixers are tied at 1-1.
