It is clear that the Brooklyn Nets are done rebuilding and will attempt to build a more competitive team next season. They have enough cap space to sign one or two top-tier free agents to max deals and they have three picks in the upcoming draft which they can use to select guys that they believe are capable of helping them become a more successful team in the future.

However, Nets general manager Sean Marks is open to all possibilities, including trading all three picks if necessary.

The Nets currently own the 17th, 27th, and 31st picks in this year's draft. If Marks is seriously considering trading them all, it will be for two options. Either he's planning to get a higher pick or he's planning to include them in a trade package to land a top-tier player.

As of this moment, the Nets have four young, talented players with the potential to be a star in the league. D'Angelo Russell (who's set to become a free agent), Spencer Dinwiddie, Caris LaVert, and Jarrett Allen. These guys have led Brooklyn to the sixth-best record in the East, and if they will be able to land a star in free agency or via trade, they will instantly become a legitimate contender.

The Nets are looking to make a splash this summer, and they're hoping that their performance this season will be enough to convince some of the top free agents to consider joining the team. If someone like Kevin Durant or Kyrie Irving decides to sign with Brooklyn, then most, if not all of those picks will be disposable.
