The Brooklyn Nets' Spencer Dinwiddie has been involved in a bunch of trade rumors recently. That said, the much-improved point guard has responded to these rumors.

Via Twitter, a fan admitted that he doesn't want Dinwiddie to get traded. The 25-year-old guard replies, noting that it's something out of his control, so it's useless to worry about it:

According to reports, the Phoenix Suns are in search of a point guard after parting ways with Brandon Knight via a trade deal with the Houston Rockets. Though Devin Booker is capable of playing the position, his scoring prowess makes him a better fit at the two-guard spot.

Dinwiddie is said to be among the prime targets of the team, along with L.A. Clippers’ Patrick Beverley, and Indiana Pacers' Cory Joseph.

Among the three, the Suns seem to be leaning towards Dinwiddie, being that he has the cheapest expiring contract at $1.6 million. Beverley and Joseph are also on the final years of their respective expiring deals.

Last season, Dinwiddie played 80 games for the Nets — 58 of which were part of the starting lineup. He logged in 12.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game. Dinwiddie was inserted into the starting lineup in place of D'Angelo Russell who sat out most of the season with an injury.
