Brooklyn Nets guard Caris LeVert hit a running floater with 0.3 seconds left against the Denver Nuggets to win a huge game on the road.

The Nets have been one of the most surprising teams in the league this season. With the win over one of the top teams in the Western Conference, it just adds to what has been an excellent start for the Nets.

During this long and intense rebuild by Brooklyn, Caris LeVert has been a cornerstone for the franchise and has put the team on his back.

The Nets have been looking for a star with these draft picks, and they might have landed one in LeVert. So far, he's been having a career season, averaging 20.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.5 steals per game. The Nets are now 6-6 on the season and they are the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.

Who would have thought this heading into the season? With LeBron James off to the Los Angeles Lakers and the Cleveland Cavaliers being the worst team in the league, it is anybody's conference to take now. Yes, even this young Brooklyn squad has a shot.

If Caris LeVert continues this high level of play we're seeing from him as the season matures, don't be surprised if he's holding that Most Improved Player trophy come awards night.
