Brooklyn Nets small forward Kevin Durant and combo guard Spencer Dinwiddie recently played pickup basketball in California.

According to Chris Milholen of Nets Daily, the games took place at Yeshiva University of Los Angeles Boys High School.

Both Durant and Dinwiddie aren't in the Orlando bubble with the Nets. KD is still making his way back from his Achilles injury, while Dinwiddie was recovering from COVID-19 and opted not to go to Orlando.

Brooklyn is the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference. While they have a slim chance of making it out of the first round, the Nets have had a great run in Disney World so far despite the absences of Kyrie Irving, DeAndre Jordan, Kevin Durant and Spencer Dinwiddie.

When Durant and Irving make their debuts as teammates next season, the Nets will be title contenders. During an appearance on the Elite Media Group’s Play For Keeps Podcast (via SNY), KD spoke about how he really wanted to play with Uncle Drew at this stage of his career.

“And obviously, Kyrie is somebody I admire, his game. (Somebody) I wanted to hoop with. It was just who I wanted to hoop with at this point,” Durant said.

Durant has career averages of 27.0 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists with the Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriors. He's a two-time MVP and one-time regular-season MVP.

Nets fans certainly can't wait to see Durant scoring buckets in a Brooklyn uniform next season.
