The Las Vegas Raiders are becoming closer and closer to a reality.

The franchise, which moved from Oakland to Los Angeles before going back to Oakland, is currently searching for a new stadium. Whether it comes in the Bay Area or else where is still up in the air.

Sin City appears more than ready to take them in.

On Tuesday, the Nevada State Senate voted to pass the Raiders' stadium bill in Las Vegas, as reported by Jeff Gillan of NBC 3 Las Vegas.

Now, on Thursday, Nevada's General Assembly will meet and discuss the Raiders' potential relocation before voting on the deal.

The Raiders, along with the San Diego Chargers, passed a stadium bill in Carson to move to the greater Los Angeles area, but the NFL approved the Rams‘ Inglewood site instead.

If the Raiders do want to move to Las Vegas, they'll need to file for relocation again and gain approval from 24 of the 32 owners. It's likely that ownership across the league will approve a stadium deal as long as they feel it's beneficial to the NFL.

It wasn't the final piece of the puzzle, but yesterday's vote was a big step in getting the Silver & Black to Vegas.
