The New Orleans Saints will head to Washington to take on the Football Team in a Sunday afternoon match-up. Two 2-2 teams will go head to head in what promises to be a great game.

These teams are both fighting for a winning record. The Saints are coming off a disappointing overtime loss to the New York Giants. The Football Team barely pulled off a victory in Atlanta. Two teams with two different mentalities will clash in Week 5.

With that being said, lets take a look at four BOLD predictions for the New Orleans Saints this Sunday.

New Orleans Saints Week 5 Predictions

4. Alvin Kamara will have a breakout performance

Alvin Kamara is coming off his best week in 2021. Prior to last week, Kamara had yet to break 100 rushing yards this season. Kamara is one of those running backs who everyone knows is really good but sometimes struggles to show it. In Week 5 Kamara will silence the haters.

Last week, the fifth year running back was handed the ball 26 times and rushed for 120 yards. If given this volume against a Washington team that has allowed nearly 120 rushing yards per game, Kamara will go off.

Washington's defense is one of the worst in the league. Kamara will play a crucial role in this Week 5 matchup. He will set the pace for the Saints and open up the offense.

3. The Saints defense will struggle to contain Scary Terry

The Saints have the second best rushing defense in the league. However, they allow nearly 300 passing yards per game. This combination will lead Washington to lean heavily on their passing. If Washington can throw the ball well it will be a problem for New Orleans.

While New Orleans should have no problem stopping Washington on the ground, stopping the pass will prove to be a challenge. A man named Scary Terry Mclaurin will be trouble for the Saints.

Scary Terry is already having a breakout year. New Orleans will certainly game plan with him in mind. Nonetheless the Saints will struggle to contain this receiver who is having a breakout 2021 season.

2. The Saints will be AGGRESSIVE

New Orleans is coming off a bad loss to the previously winless New York Giants. The Saints will be coming into this game with an aggressive game plan. Head Coach Sean Payton will not let his team go into Week 5 demoralized.

The game plan for New Orleans will be to attack offensively and take advantage of a weak Washington defense. Losing in overtime leaves a bitter taste in everyone's mouth. New Orleans will look to turn up the aggression and go for big plays. They will do everything they can to win this football game.

1. Jameis Winston will go off

Jameis Winston is one of the most inconsistent quarterbacks in the NFL. In Week 1 he threw for 5 touchdowns and humiliated a highly rated Packers team. Winston threw no touchdowns and 2 interceptions in Week 2. And the last two weeks have been mediocre for him. Winston has it in him to go off, but no one knows when that will be.

Week 5 has all the makings of what should be a great week for Jameis. He is facing one of the worst defenses in the leagues. The Saints are coming off a loss to the Giants. And Winston hasn't gone off since Week 1. It's about time that the veteran quarterback unleashes on an unsuspecting team.

The Saints will no doubt learn from their loss to New York and will play this game with a vengeance. As previously stated, expect an aggressive game plan that will set up Winston for a great game in Washington.
