Netflix April 2021 Conclusion
We're finally starting to notice more originals hit the streaming platform, which is likely a sign of more production companies being able to film and/or adjusting to the global pandemic better than a year ago around this same time.
Nonetheless, as it is nearly every month, it's mostly the shows that'll grab the most attention. While Netflix does a tremendous job with their originals, given the number of streaming competitors out there at the moment, they'll need to either continue to build their own original IPs or find a deal with a major movie studio. After all, HBO Max is currently releasing “in the theater” movies directly to their subscribers. Netflix will likely need to combat that.
