After missing an entire month due to several injuries, rookie Mitchell Robinson is set to return to action for the New York Knicks soon.

Robinson traveled with the team to London, and has been listed as questionable for the Knicks, who will be facing the Washington Wizards in a regular season match-up set to take place at The O2 Arena as part of the NBA's London games.

The 7'1 rookie has been sidelined with ankle and groin injuries and has missed a total of 13 games. The Knicks are 1-12 during that span.

Unless there are any setbacks to his recovery, Marc Berman of the NYPost reported that Knicks coach David Fizdale plans to use the seven foot rookie, especially since the team is without starting center Enes Kanter who didn't travel with the team due to political issues surrounding him and the Turkish government.

“I expect rust, but we got to get it off of him,” Fizdale said. “He’s missed a big chunk of the season — a very important chunk for his development. The faster we can get it off of him and get him playing, the better. We’re going to evaluate it on how it reacts to the practice. But today he’ll go [full bore].”

However, Fizdale noted that should they decide to allow Robinson to play, he will be under minutes restrictions.

As expected, Robinson is excited to get back on the court. He cited some of the things that he can do to help the Knicks win some games.

“I’ll definitely be able to add a little positivity to the team,” Robinson said. “I think our defense will be OK. We’ve got to talk better. Our communication can get low and I can bring that up, and we should be fine.”

The Knicks could definitely use Robinson's defensive presence, as he's averaged 3.8 blocks per 36 minutes in 28 games played.
