Comparing college players to current NFL stars is a common tool used by the media and team executives to describe a prospect's perceived potential and/or talent. While at the Combine, defensive end Bradley Chubb compared himself to a pair of current NFL greats in an attempt to illustrate what he brings to the table.

If you didn’t see him play the last few years at North Carolina State, he brings an awful lot.

“I try to take Khalil Mack and Von Miller and put them into one person,” Chubb said, via Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk. “Khalil Mack’s the more powerful guy, probably the best long arm in the game right now. Von Miller’s the speed, finesse guy. Just try to put both of those together, have some power moves, have some speed moves that I go to.”

Mack and Miller are arguably the best in the business in today’s NFL. So, if he can bring the best of both of them to whatever defense he plays in, well, it is not going to be fun playing quarterback against his team.

He is expected to go to the Indianapolis Colts with the No. 3 pick in the draft. The Cleveland Browns are expected to opt for either a quarterback or Saquon Barkley with the No. 1 pick. The New York Giants could do the same with the No. 2 pick.

He certainly didn’t do anything to hurt his draft stock at the Combine. He had a respectable 40-yard dash time for a 269 lb player (4.65 seconds). His vertical jump was excellent (36 inches) and he completed 24 reps on bench press (225 pounds).

Whoever takes him, if it isn’t the Colt, will certainly be getting a very athletic player.
