With the 2018 NFL Draft just around the corner, teams are clamoring to position themselves in a spot where they can take one of the top quarterback prospects. With as many as four quarterbacks being projected to go in the top-5, there is a certain sense of urgency for teams looking for some future stability under center.

Fortunately for these teams, there are some that may be willing to trade back for the right price. According to Benjamin Allbright of AM 1340, the Arizona Cardinals, New England Patriots, and Buffalo Bills are reportedly looking to take advantage by potentially moving up:

Pats, Buff and AZ have made no secret that they're interested in moving up. Quietly several teams believe Denver and Indy want to move down.

The prospect of trading up certainly makes sense for each of the aforementioned teams. Given the bevy of quality quarterback prospects in this year's draft, it may be too good of an opportunity to pass up.

Arizona addressed their need under center for the time being with the signing of Sam Bradford. However, his injury history suggests that they will need to come up with a contingency plan as soon as possible or suffer the same fate they did in the 2017 NFL season.

The Patriots traded away their future franchise quarterback Jimmy Garappolo last season to the San Francisco 49ers last season amidst the reported turmoil that had been going on within the franchise.

New England will now have to start from scratch by developing another promising, young gunslinger while Tom Brady concludes his illustrious career within the next few years. They have garnered some quality assets this offseason and may be willing to expend them if they like a particular quarterback enough.

Meanwhile, the Bills have long been in dire need of another quarterback following the departure of Tyrod Taylor. It is clear that Nathan Peterman is nothing more than a potential backup. At this point, Buffalo may be willing to go all out on securing one of the top prospects in this year's draft.
