Former Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield is one of the most intriguing prospects in the 2018 NFL Draft. Early reports suggest he can even go as high as No. 1 overall to the Cleveland Browns.

While it is still way too soon to tell, it seems the Browns are not the only ones impressed with Mayfield thus far. According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, the Miami Dolphins had high praise for him following their interview at the Senior Bowl:

The Dolphins like Mayfield’s skill set and privately have spoken highly about how he came across in their interview with him at the Senior Bowl. The Dolphins weren’t sure what to expect when they met with Mayfield but came away impressed, according to a source with direct knowledge.

The Dolphins are now among several teams to echo the same sentiment. It goes without saying that he was one of the most electrifying players in college football last season. However, there has been some criticism surrounding the Heisman Trophy winner for his boisterous personality on and off the field.

As a result, he seems to be the draft's biggest high-risk, high-reward player. Unfortunately for the Dolphins, he may not even be around long enough for them to have the option. Miami currently owns the 11th overall pick in a draft filled with quarterback-hungry teams early on.

Furthermore, they seem to be content with current franchise quarterback Ryan Tannehill for the time being. However, that has not changed the fact that Mayfield continues to impress teams the more they get to know him, which is encouraging for his draft stock.
