UCLA's Josh Rosen is undoubtedly one of the best quarterback prospects in the 2018 NFL Draft. However, the biggest knock on him thus far has been questions about his character off the field during his time in college.

Rosen has never been shy about speaking his mind on a number of wide-ranging topics. Now he is hoping the interview process at the NFL Combine will give him a chance to prove his desire to succeed at the next level, according to Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk

“We all work our butt off,” Rosen said. “If we didn’t like football, no matter how talented we are, we wouldn’t be in the position that we all are here this week. I mean, I love football with all of my heart and soul. If I didn’t, I just don’t think I’d have made it through the grind of college. I mean, football is an unbelievable team sport. That’s what’s so cool about it is I’m not playing for my own passions or exclusively for my own passions. I’m playing for all of my teammates. It’s cool when you can throw a touchdown at the Rose Bowl and turn to the sideline and see 120 of your best friends jumping for joy.”
Rosen has been touted as the purest passer in this year's draft. However, his antics during his time at UCLA has raised questions about whether or not he is fit to help turn the fortunes of a struggling franchise around. As a result, he seems to have fallen behind other promising prospects such as USC's Sam Darnold and Wyoming's Josh Allen.
Rosen has done his best to try and repair the damage done to judgments about his character. He now has the opportunity to convince that notion to those that truly matter at the combine. Needless to say, he will need to make quite the impression if he intends on being the first quarterback taken off the board. Regardless, it seems his chances of being among the top picks in the draft remain highly probable due to the number of quarterback-hungry teams in the league.
