The Cincinnati Bengals selected Joe Burrow with the first overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, and Baltimore Ravens standout Calais Campbell is ready to give him a proper welcome to the league. Campbell tweeted his congratulations to Burrow, but also included a little shot saying they need to be properly acquainted.

Campbell will be looking to getting acquainted with everyone in the NFC North after being traded to the Baltimore Ravens during the offseason. The Jacksonville Jaguars received a fifth-round pick in the 2020 draft from the Ravens in exchange from Campbell.

Calais Campbell has already played 12 seasons in the NFL but he has proven time and time again that he still has a lot to give to the NFL. During the 2019 season, Campbell started all 16 games, racking up 56 tackles. He also had two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and one touchdown.

If the Bengals don't protect Burrow, Calais Campbell very well could get a few big hits on the Bengals new franchise quarterback. For the Bengals, they hope Burrow can start to lead the team to a lot of success.

During the 2019 season with LSU, Burrow was a standout putting up 5,671 yards, 60 touchdowns, and six interceptions. He led the Tigers to a perfect season that ended with the Tigers winning the National Championship.

There could be some growing pains with Burrow like there is with every rookie quarterback, but there is a lot of new hope surrounding this team. The Bengals face off with the Ravens twice a year, and Calais Campbell hopes he will be apart of that growing pain.
