Getting compared to the NFL's third all-time rushing leader is a good thing no matter how you look at it. Per NFL Analysist Lance Zierlein, Georgia running back D'Andre Swift compares well to likely future Hall of Famer Frank Gore.

A 5-foot-9, 215-pound back out of UGA, D'Andre Swift is widely considered to be one of, if not the, best running back prospect in the 2020 draft class. In that sense, it only makes sense to compare the prospect to someone as good as Gore.

Zierlein compliments Swift's strong build, football IQ, vision and quickness among other things. Those qualities have led D'Andre Swift to being mocked anywhere from the middle of the first round to the late second round.

Interestingly, D'Andre Swift has been clocked in at around 4.43 in the forty-yard dash while Gore ran a 4.58 during the 2005 NFL combine. The two do possess similar size, being the same height and listed at just three pounds apart from each other.

In his junior year at Georgia, D'Andre Swift ran for 1,218 yards and seven touchdowns on over six yards per carry while also adding 220 yards and a TD as a receiver.

As for Gore, the 15-year NFL veteran is one of the best backs of the late 2000s and early 2010s. Gore's 15,347 career rushing yards puts him behind just Walter Payton and Emmitt Smith on the all-time list.

At 36 years old, Gore is still making an impact. The five-time Pro Bowler suited up for the Buffalo Bills this past season recording 699 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns as he split carries with rookie Devin Singletary.
