Former Florida Gators offensive tackle and 2019 NFL Draft prospect Jawaan Taylor has been considered to be one of the best offensive linemen in this year's draft class for quite some time. While this came as hardly a surprise, Taylor has already come off the board to the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have selected the former Gators blocker with the No. 35 overall pick in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Now, Williams will now protect Nick Foles and pave the way for Leonard Fournette in Jacksonville.

“Throwback right tackle with adequate foot quickness for pass-protection duties and above-average size and nastiness to fit the ‘road grader' model,” reads his 2019 NFL Draft profile on NFL.com. “Taylor strains to cave, kick or drive his opponent out of the way. His feet are good enough to slide out on speed rushers and redirect them past the pocket, but his hustle to protect his edge will expose him to inside moves from power counters. He'll need technique work in the run game and has to keep his weight in check, but he should be an early starter at right tackle or guard with a positive impact on the run game right away.”

A standout during his collegiate career at Florida, the up-and-coming offensive tackle certainly has what it takes to succeed atop the highest level of professional football. Standing at 6-foot-5 while weighing just over 310 pounds, Williams will no doubt serve as a legitimate force immediately upon making his debut as a member of the aforementioned Jaguars.
