Both the Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers hold early picks in the 2019 NFL Draft. It appears They have each expressed interest in Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa.

Bosa is pegged as one of the highest-rated prospects in the draft. According to Matt Maiocco and Scott Bair of NBC Sports, he made his visit to the Bay Area this week:

Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa made the tour of Bay Area NFL teams Wednesday and Thursday.

The interest from the Raiders and the 49ers is certainly understandable. Bosa is considered by many to be the best pass-rusher in his class. Both teams are in dire need of an immediate playmaker on the edge, and he can certainly oblige.

San Francisco currently owns the No. 2 overall pick in the upcoming draft. The 49ers made several splashes this offseason with the addition of linebacker Kwon Alexander and defensive end Dee Ford. They could be looking to establish quite the talented, young rushing duo by pairing Bosa with Ford on the edge.

Meanwhile, there has been plenty of speculation regarding what Oakland intends to do with the fourth overall pick. It is no secret that they are in serious need of some help in the pass-rushing department. They finished dead last in sacks after trading defensive end Khalil Mack last offseason.

Bringing in a player of Bosa's caliber would undoubtedly help alleviate the pain of Mack's departure. However, they also have two other first-round picks to experiment with as they look to fill a number of voids on their roster.
