Per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, former Oklahoma running back Rodney Anderson will not be very active during the draft combine in Indianapolis, Indiana. Anderson was projected to go sometime in the second round.

However, as he is still recovering from ACL surgery, he will only be doing the bench press. He is focusing his efforts toward his pro-day in April.

Rodney Anderson played three years at the University of Oklahoma. He only played one full season, his sophomore season. That season he ran for 1,161 yards along with 13 rushing touchdowns while averaging 6.2 yards per carrying. He was also effective in the backfield, totaling 17 receptions for 281 yards and five rushing touchdowns.

It was a bit of a surprise when Anderson didn't declare for the draft after his sophomore year. However, he wanted to improve his draft stock even further. He went back his Junior year and unfortunately tore his ACL two games into the season. He ran for 119 yards on 11 attempts with three rushing touchdowns.

Many expected him to be a Heisman trophy and a Doak Walker candidate. His sophomore year, he wasn't even considered a semifinalist for the Doak Walker. However, he still should be a high second-round draft pick. He's one of the most talented running backs in this draft.

The Sooners went 12-2 on the season and finished first in the Big 12. Kyler Murray was their quarterback. Ironically enough, he was able to corral in the Heisman trophy.

The NFL draft will occur in Nashville, Tennesse from April 25th through the 27th.
