The Seattle Seahawks and New York Jets agreed to a Day 2 trade in the 2020 NFL Draft, allowing the NFC West franchise to move up in the second round and take Tennessee defensive back/linebacker Darrell Taylor 48th overall, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Taylor, 23, spent five years with the Volunteers, redshirting his true freshman season. The Virginia four-star high school recruit posted 46 total tackles, including 10 for losses, 8.5 sacks, and one forced fumble in 13 games in his senior season with Tennessee.

The Jets have been seeking a wide receiver in the draft following former free-agent wideout Robby Anderson, New York's top pass-catching option, decision to sign with the Carolina Panthers. After taking a much-needed offensive tackle in the first round on Thursday, Gang Green opted to trade back and let the Seahawks grab a pass-rusher instead.

Seattle previously selected Texas Tech linebacker Jordyn Brooks with the 27th overall pick yesterday.
