According to Skip Bayless, the second-best quarterback in the 2019 NFL Draft is still available heading into Day 2. He has West Virginia star Will Grier behind only Kyler Murray in his rankings.

This is what we like to call a hot take. Grier was usually found on boards as the fifth-best quarterback in the NFL Draft.

He was behind Kyler Murray (who went first overall), Daniel Jones (who went sixth overall), Dwayne Haskins (who went 15th overall), and Drew Lock (who is also still available).

That being said, it's not crazy to think extremely high of Grier. He was a stud at West Virginia and was creeping up draft boards. By the time the draft rolled around, his stock was unclear. Grier could've been taken in the first round or found himself falling into the third (or even fourth).

Skip Bayless isn't new to controversy. He tends to say things that cause a stir and brings in viewers. It should also be noted that the New York Giants took Daniel Jones and the Washington Redskins took Dwayne Haskins.

Bayless is a noted Dallas Cowboys fan. Therefore, you have to wonder if he truly believes this, or if he wants to believe it.

Either way, this is all predictions. That's all anyone can do right now until the rookies start playing games. Projections are nice when determining who you want to draft, but it's an imperfect science. Every year the best scouts in the world are miserably wrong about a few players.

Maybe Skip Bayless will prove to be right, maybe he'll prove to be wrong. We'll just have to wait and see.
