Now that the NFL Draft has come to a close, coaches and executives around the league have surprisingly raving reviews about how the momentous part of the offseason was conducted.

While the first few rounds featured a friendly competition for best in-home setup and a few blunders at that, most involved in taking part were happy with the results.

Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor, who was roasted for his outdated desk, which he said was positioned “horribly” next to the bare walls in his basement — called it an “awesome” experience, according to ESPN.

“Fantastic,” Atlanta Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff said.

“Outstanding,” Tennessee Titans general manager Jon Robinson said.

“The draft may have just evolved,” Los Angeles Rams general manager Les Snead concluded.

“Technology is an amazing thing,” New York Giants general manager Dave Gettleman said.

Though perhaps no one won the day more than the irreverent Bill Belichick, who had his Husky puppy take over for a few seconds before getting a treat for being a good boy smart general manager.

While it wasn't the most glamorous setup, most executives were able to draft just as if they had to do it in their own war rooms — an impressive feat considering the challenge at hand.

More people tuned into this 2020 iteration of the NFL Draft than they had in years past, likely due to a country starved for any semblance of live sporting events — even if it involves middle-aged guys sitting at their home desks.
