Free agent veteran cornerback Logan Ryan of the Tennessee Titans is seeking his next deal to be at least a salary of $10 million per year, and the two-time Super Bowl champion defensive back is willing to sign a short-term contract to meet his compensation demands, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Ryan, 29, earned $9.5 million in base salary with the Titans during the 2019 NFL season. In his third season with Tennessee, Ryan had his best year yet, recording 113 combined tackles, four tackles for losses, eight quarterback hits, four forced fumbles, 4.5 sacks, and four interceptions, playing in every regular-season game.

Ryan was a key contributor on the defensive end for a Titans team that paired a second-half run with remarkable postseason success, leading to a first-round upset over the cornerback's former team, the New England Patriots, and another win over the AFC's No. 1 seed Baltimore Ravens before the Music City franchise was stopped in its tracks against the eventual Super Bowl LIV champion Kansas City Chiefs in the conference title game.

A third-round selection by the Pats in the 2013 draft out of Rutgers, Ryan spent the first four seasons of his professional tenure in New England before signing a three-year contract in free agency with the Titans back in March 2017.

The market is booming for versatile defensive backs at the moment as veterans like Chris Harris Jr. and Darius Slay have received new deals with new franchises. Logan Ryan is hoping that well hasn't been tapped yet as he seeks a willing club to pay him an eight-digit salary.
