In the weeks that have followed former NFL wideout Terrell Owens' decision to hold his own Pro Football Hall of Fame ceremony, there has still been chatter concerning that decision.

There has been another perspective thrown in the mix as former NFL great wide receiver Andre Rison voicing to TMZ Sports that what Owens did with his Pro Football Hall of Fame induction could impact the 51-year-old's chance of ever receiving that prestigious honor.

“When I hear T.O.'s argument, I know it's valid, I know it's good, but I really wish he would've went,” Rison says.

“Because he does make it hard sometimes for guys like myself, who was a rough rider.”

Similarly to Owens, Rison had a strong personality on the field that often made it difficult for him in his various stops in the league. However, he has put together an impressive career that should receive some Hall of Fame consideration given that he has 743 career receptions with 10,205 receiving yards and 84 total touchdowns over his career with five Pro Bowl nods, a First-Team All-Pro selection, and three Second-Team All-Pro nods.

However, there could be some concerns that another player with a strong personality like Owens that didn't get into the Hall of Fame on one of the first ballots could lead to going that route. These comments from Rison certainly sound like he won't go that route if he was to earn that honor that would cement his NFL legacy.

All of this simply put more of a focus from the Pro Football Hall of Fame to prevent a situation like this from rising in the future with another of the inductees down the line. It is something that could change the process entirely with Owens' decision to hold his own ceremony away from everything else.
