The reunion between Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and New England Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick was entertaining enough, but apparently viewers didn't get to see it in its entirety. They saw the game of course, which the Buccaneers won in close fashion (19-17), and they got to see the duo embrace on the field following the game, but NFL Network insider Michael Giardi reports that Belichick also visited Brady in the Tampa Bay locker room after the game for over 20 minutes, having a private conversation away from the cameras and microphones.

NFL Network's Ian Rapaport notes that Belichick took a similar approach to a reunion back in 2009 when the Patriots played the Denver Broncos. Belichick was reunited with former Pats' offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, who left New England for the Broncos head-coaching role. The two had “a private visit to the opposing locker room, out of the public’s eye.” The details of this conversation, along with that of Brady and Belichik, were never disclosed to the media.

If one were to speculate, Brady and Belichick probably just reminisced about their shared accomplishments through the years. The two of course won six Superbowls together over the course of two decades, establishing themselves as one of the greatest player-coach duos in sports history.

“I'll be a part of this community for a long time,” Brady said of the Patriots organization in his postgame interview.
