Former NFL cornerback Brandon Browner was arrested Sunday on charges of kidnapping, burglary, false imprisonment and violation of a restraining order, Joe Studly and Shahan Ahmed of NBC Los Angeles report.

Per the report, police responded to a call that alleged Browner had broken into the home of the woman he had been in a previous relationship with and who had a restraining order against him. Browner allegedly forced her back into the house when she tried to run, and also physically harmed the woman and threatened to kill her before taking a Rolex watch from her and leaving.

Browner had just been arrested in May for domestic battery and child endangerment and pleaded no contest to the charges. He was sent to jail for violating his probation from a previous incident, but he spent just two days in the jail before getting out due to overcrowding.

Over the last year, Browner has now been arrested at least four times. He was also arrested on drug charges in October, and for making criminal threats in September.

Browner, 33, played five years in the NFL, most notably the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots. After playing in Canada for a few years, Browner emerged as a member of Seattle’s famed “Legion of Boom” secondary in 2011. He went to the Pro Bowl in his debut season with the Seahawks and helped them win the Super Bowl in 2013. He also won another Super Bowl ring in his only season with the Patriots in 2015.

Browner last played in the NFL for the New Orleans Saints in 2015. He had an unsuccessful comeback attempt with the Seahawks in 2016, and announced his retirement in 2017.
