It's clear to everyone that Cam Newton is bitter over how his stint with the Carolina Panthers ended. It's understandable that he's not going to stop dissing the Panthers after the kind of betrayal they gave him this offseason.

No one knows where Newton will play next season as he's still not signed with another NFL team after being let go by the Panthers. He talked about his current situation and refused to brand himself as an underdog who fans should take pity on.

According to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, Newton took to his Instagram account to talk about the way the Panthers released him. As expected, Newton had vitriol in his words and had targeted barbs towards his former team and the way they let him go:

“People love a good underdog story,” Newton said on Instagram with his trademark tough-to-decipher font. “This ain’t that. Sh-t, I been a dog.”

It's clear to Cam Newton that he will come back with a vengeance and play with a fire to prove himself to whoever gets his signature.

While it's true that he hardly played last season due to injury, it's important to remember that he's still one of the best QBs in the game. After all, he did play a huge role in leading the Panthers to a Super Bowl appearance in 2016.

There are talks that he could probably end up with the New England Patriots or the Los Angeles Chargers. Wherever he ends up, those fans can expect a fiery return for Newton.
