This season would probably be known as the year of incompetent kickers as plenty of teams got burned due to poor kicking. It's been so bad that Chad Johnson is even considering to make a comeback to show these kickers how things should be done.

The 41-year-old Johnson, affectionately known to fans as Chad Ochocinco, posted a video on his Instagram account of him kicking from distance. He made the attempt sixty yards away from the goalposts, and the footage was nothing short of incredible.

Johnson definitely had the power to complete long-range kicks. Moreover, he showcased his accuracy with the field goal attempt. While the ball swerved to the right a little more than he would have liked, the attempt was more than good.

The caption to his post also made things a lot more confusing for some fans. Going by his words, it seems like Johnson was serious about his NFL comeback.

CBS Sports' Bryan DeArdo tried to make sense of the situation, and he's just as confused as everyone else:

Although he appears to be serious about a comeback, it's anyone's guess whether Johnson will get a chance to try out for an NFL team this offseason. But based on the struggles of several kickers this season, Johnson could be a candidate for a team looking for a well-rounded veteran.

Johnson played 11 years of professional football, mostly as an exciting and entertaining receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals. He was named to the Pro Bowl six times and made the All-Pro First Team twice in his career. His skills and physical gifts as a football player should serve him well in the NFL. And based on how he kicked that 60-yard field goal, he has an actual shot at making it as a kicker.
