Star pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney is a free agent this offseason. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that he has quite a few teams interested in him.

It looks like two of the teams showing some interest are the Indianapolis Colts and New York Giants, per ESPN's Josina Anderson.

Clowney is considered one of the best, and more dangerous pass rushers in the NFL.

Truthfully though, he did not have all that impressive of a 2019 season.

Clowney spent 2019 with the Seattle Seahawks, his first NFL season not with the Houston Texans. In that year, Clowney appeared in 13 games, recording career-lows (not counting his rookie season when he played in only four games) in tackles (31), tackles for loss (7) and sacks (3).

However, the pass rusher did set a new career-high in forced fumbles (4) and had his first career interception. He also had two fumble recoveries and two defensive touchdowns.

So while Clowney was not nearly as effective when it came to getting to the quarterback, he was still making plays.

The pass rusher is also just 27 years old and could still have his best seasons ahead of him. It also doesn't help that he's an absolute freak and a physical specimen listed at 6'5″, 255 pounds.

Due to his size and athleticism, a lot of teams are still in love with Clowney. So, you should expect more than just the Colts and the Giants to be throwing their hats in the ring when it comes to the free agent star.

Jadeveon Clowney will likely command a pretty sizable contract though. So that could play a factor when it comes to how heavily some teams actually pursue him. Keep that in mind when you hear which teams are showing any level of interest.
