NFL stars Tom Brady, the new quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and his old rival gunslinger Peyton Manning are set to battle on the golf course in a COVID-19 fundraising effort with a little help from golf's stars Tiger Woods and southpaw Phil Mickelson.

According to Pro Football Talk, the foursome will tee off at 3 p.m. ET at Medalist Golf Club on May 24 with Manning and Woods as one pair and Brady and Mickelson as their adversaries, and all four members have pledged $10 million each to contribute to the coronavirus relief fund.

The professional athletes' charity golf outing will be televised by multiple networks, including TNT and TBS.

Brady, 42, alongside New Orleans Saints veteran signal-caller Drew Brees, recently broke Manning's all-time NFL career passing touchdowns record during the 2019 season, with 541 and 547, respectively, as the two-time Super Bowl winner and ex-Colts and Broncos QB sits in a comfortable third place now at 539.

The 44-year-old golfing phenom Woods, a 15-time PGA majors winner, recently saw his pro comeback when he took home his fifth green jacket at the 2019 Masters Tournament—an 11-year difference in his last major win coming in 2008 at the U.S. Open at Torrey Pines in San Diego, California.

The new Florida resident, Brady, who's renting a house from former New York Yankees great shortstop and current Miami Marlins co-owner Derek Jeter, will get a taste of the sunbelt golfing lifestyle as he faces off with two professional golfers and a recently retired NFL quarterback. All three of whom may have had more time to practice their game while Brady and his ex–New England Patriots toiled in the 2019 regular season before getting bounced in the AFC Wild Card Round of the 2019-20 postseason.
