Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson has been under fire the entire week due to a post on his Instagram account, which was viewed as anti-Semitic by the general public. Though many have downplayed the situation and even come out to defend Jackson, The three-time Pro Bowler has made several apologies and attempts make amends with including trying to  educate himself on the issue.

In a recent tweet, ESPN Senior NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported that the Eagles' wideout had already met with an unnamed group that is committed to fighting anti-Semitism. Schefter also said that DeSean Jackson is also scheduled to meet with a 94-year-old Holocaust survivor.

Earlier in the week, fellow NFL wide receiver Julian Edelman came out and offered to help DeSean Jackson in this regard, going as far as offering to show him around the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum as well as the National Museum of African American History and Culture. Thursday, Edelman shared on his Twitter account that the two of them had gotten the opportunity to talk.

Though he didn't get into detail, the three-time Super Bowl champion stated that he and DeSean Jackson are “making plans to use our experiences to educate one another and grow together,” alluding to a possible discussion between the two.

DeSean Jackson was originally drafted by Philadelphia in 2008 and is entering year two of his second stint with the franchise.

DeSean Jackson and the entire Eagles organization are looking to deal with this issue before heading into the 2020 season.
