Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant briefly joined the New Orleans Saints last season. However, Bryant promptly torn his Achilles upon making his way to New Orleans, seemingly concluding his Saints tenure.

Nonetheless, the free agent wide out continues to recover from such a setback; playing in 2019 appears to be on the table as June has arrived.

“I heard a few people say if you don't play last year then your career is over,” a fan on Twitter recently asked Bryant. “I didn't believe it because you was one of my favorite wrs (until you gave Ravens the cold shoulder) but now it's starting to seem like those reporters might be right. You still interested in playing?”

Upon responding to such a question, Bryant gave a cryptic answer; it remains to be seen if the former Cowboys standout ultimately plays in the 2019 campaign.

“Of course I’m interested in playing… but to be brutally honest I’m dealing with something that’s more beneficial to my life,” Bryant tweeted in response. “I stand strong on “I’m more than the athlete” I’m a father and entrepreneur that need way more recognition towards that matter.”

Assuming the veteran pass catcher returns to full health, Bryant could very well latch on with a receiver-needy team sooner rather than later. As training camp and the 2019 regular season draw nearer and injuries unfortunately occur, Bryant could find his next NFL home due to some circumstances that have yet to reveal themselves.
