The Los Angeles Rams are Super Bowl bound, and there is nothing anyone can do about it…I think? With the Rams edging the New Orleans Saints in overtime in this year's NFC Championship Game, the memorable victory did not come without some major controversy.

As a result, Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank now believes that NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will address the elephant in the room at some point this week. That elephant, is, of course, the blown call that ultimately paved the way for the Rams to take on the New England Patriots in Atlanta's Super Bowl LIII.

To recap the forgettable moment for everyone in the New Orleans area, Saints wide receiver Tommylee Lewis was clearly interfered with late in the game as Rams cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman hit the wideout incredibly early as a Drew Brees pass flew by the tandem. There was no call, however, and the Saints now have a tough pill to swallow on deck for the looming offseason.

“I understand the way Saints fans feel and their organization feels and their city feels,” Blank recently said, via the New Orleans Times-Picayune. “They should express themselves in any way they can, and I’m sure the Commissioner will respond on Wednesday. But, I would understand their views certainly.”

Up until now, Goodell has taken a ton of criticism from just about everyone for not addressing the blown call whatsoever. However, perhaps Blank knows something that we all don't, and Goodell will make a point to address the lingering issue sometime in the very near future.
