We've seen former NFL players hang up their cleats in favor of a commentating career. Another player will do this in Week 10. Ahead of the upcoming week, it was announced that Aqib Talib, the former Super Bowl champion cornerback, will begin his broadcasting career on Sunday.

Before the season began in September, Aqib Talib announced his retirement from football at 34 years old. Despite having offers from multiple teams to have a situational role, Talib decided it was time to walk away from the gridiron.
Back in 2008, Aqib Talib began his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as the No. 20 overall pick in the first round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Coming out of Kansas, Talib was expected to become one of the premier cornerbacks in the NFL.
It's safe to say he lived up to expectations, intercepting 15 passes and logging 35 pass breakups in his first three seasons with the Buccaneers. After spending four seasons in Tampa Bay, Aqib Talib was traded to the New England Patriots.
In New England, Aqib Talib honed his craft and became one of the true shutdown cornerbacks in the NFL. Even though he wouldn't win a Super Bowl with the Patriots, he would get the elusive Super Bowl ring later in his career with the Denver Broncos.
He would also make another Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams, who was the last team he suited up for in the NFL.
On Sunday, when Aqib Talib makes his broadcasting debut, he'll be calling the game between the Washington Football Team and the Detroit Lions. The former All-Pro cornerback has likely seen what Tony Romo is making in the booth and figured he'd try commentating himself.
