Free-agent tight end Greg Olsen is in contract talks with the Buffalo Bills, Washington Redskins and Seattle Seahawks, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Olsen, who was released by the Carolina Panthers earlier this month, has already completed his visits with the three teams.

In 14 games this past season, Olsen logged 52 catches for 597 yards and a couple of touchdowns, and while that is a far cry from the type of production he posted during his best years, it represented a solid bounceback campaign for the 34-year-old.

Olsen played in just 16 games combined between 2017 and 2018 due to persistent foot injuries, which had some wondering whether or not he would retire before 2019.

However, the veteran opted to play, and he delivered.

The Paterson, N.J. native, who played his collegiate football at the University of Miami, was originally selected by the Chicago Bears in the first round (31st pick overall) of the 2007 NFL Draft.

He spent the first four years of his career with the Bears, with his best season in the Windy City coming in 2009 when he caught 60 passes for 612 yards and eight scores.

Chicago then traded Greg Olsen to the Panthers in July 2011.

He proceeded to break out in 2012, hauling in 69 receptions for 843 yards while reaching the end zone five times. Olsen then made three straight Pro Bowl appearances between 2014 and 2016, registering over 1,000 yards in each of those campaigns. He topped out at 1,104 yards in 2015.

Since then, Olsen has declined due to injuries and old age, but he showed this past season that he can still be a productive member of an offense if he is healthy.
